Jesus the Trainer: he taught everyone, but trained a few!
Would you rather speak to a crowd of 500 or invest in training a handful of disciples? What's the difference?
According to the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism, Jesus strategically invested nearly three times as much time with his disciples as he did with the crowds.
Why do you think this matters? Stop. Reflect. Respond. Dialogue!
Instead of leaving a well-taught crowd (who was not necessarily well-equipped for disciplemaking) Jesus left a cadre of disciplemakers. He taught everyone but trained a few. Because he trained a few, everyone could be taught.

Can you name a person who has trained you to train others? Who?
Read Mark 3:14 and rejoice that God sent out apostles. What was the net result of this sending as it's moved through generations until it met you through Ephesians 4:11-12? (Hint... because Jesus sent the apostles after investing his life in training them you eventually came into contact with Jesus through those who they impacted generation after generation by the guidance of the Holy Spirit... WOW!
Get Wet: Stop and simply praise Jesus for his investement in others who have invested in you. Say a big WOW God. Consider what action plan God wants for you today. How is the Holy Spirit guiding you through this study. What is your next step?
